Coordinator notes: Not a butterfly but rather a day-flying moth...flight worn and looks to be a male (has thin antenna...female has them more feathery). I'm not into moths in general but I do have a collection of day-flying moths...this one is frequently observed in the middle-elevation forested areas in the state and often at flowers as this one is doing.
