Observation notes: A calm evening. 11C, 90% humidity, Remarkably few insects of any kind present. This moth was quite active. I was only able to take this one photo. There are so many similar moths, my suggested ID is definitely only a suggestion.

Coordinator notes: Going with Gluphisia septentrionis here. All markings lead to Gluphisia, as you suggest, but there are no yellow spots as in avimacula.
