Date notes: We saw the moth both in the morning and late afternoon, 3 days in a row starting 7/18/25.

Observation notes: There were between 6 to 9 of these moths on the same cluster of tansy ragwort blooms, both in the mornings and afternoons for the last 3 days. Other tansies down the road only had 1 or 2 on them. Cloudy 66 degree days. We have walked this road for 30+ years now and this was our first sighting of these moths. They were very shy and would fly off when we got too close.
