Observation notes: I saw this butterfly while walking on the Warroad bike trail the morning of July 10. It flew and rested on the leaf of a plant (identity unknown) near a brushy area near a swamp. I have seen Eyed Browns before in Beltrami Island State Forest 10 miles south of Warroad. This is the first time I have seen one in town. Photo is a cell phone image.
