Observation notes: Puddling at creek in Tehachapi Canyon. Around 5500’ elevation. Sunny day in the 70’s F. Many butterflies, bees, and wasps drinking here. This species is abundant in the Tehachapi Mountains in the oak trees and they also seem to like to fly into the conifer forests.
