Observation notes: We robbed this (the only skipper we saw on this hike up toward El Capitan Gap) from a robberfly. The only other bflies we saw were frits we couldn't run down. Drought has been devastating to the plants, butterfly, animals & birds in the area. There were essentially no nectar plants (OK a few tiny ones we had to look hard to find!).
