Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: I observed this butterfly first on a hawthorn in my yard. It would dash out and interact with other butterflies (Cabbage whites) and then return to the tree. It was about 15 feet above the ground. It appears to have bird damage to its wing. It was a warm, sunny afternoon. This is a rare butterfly in my yard--I have only seen one other one this spring/summer.
