Observation notes: I have lived here for 30 years, and this is the first "blue" butterfly I have ever seen in the neighborhood. I spotted it at Ingraham High School on the southeast side of the gymnasium in a dry lawn with some clover and other flowers. It was hunkering down low on the lawn and on asphalt in a stiff breeze on a warm, sunny morning. I thought I saw a blue butterfly in my own yard about a block away so now will look closer to see if that was also possibly an echo azure!
