Coordinator notes: This is a Green Comma...it has the characteristic small spots within the marginal border on the hindwings. Cannot tell the sex...I would guess a male. Colorado is out of the distribution of the Gray Comma (it is mostly northward and east). We have one confirmed record (a specimen) from the foothills west of Denver that was probably here by way of an accidental introduction. Mike
