Observation notes: Single individual, a female apparently, visiting trailside foliage in a section of dry meadow, partially shaded by Oak. Lots of different plants, including thistle, grasses, mustard, etc. Temps mid 70s, steady onshore breeze, even in this well-inland site. Clear skies. This was an unexpected observation as it’s late in the season for sara, and there were so many Cabbage Whites flying, I almost missed it. I was physically attacked by a very aggressive Cloak as I photographed this one.
