Observation notes: basking on the end of a driveway sandy/gravel a unique individual look at its lower wings.. dark markings are unusual.

Coordinator notes: This is the "summer form" of the Eastern Comma, which has the darker HW shading (some much more prominent than others). The fall and spring forms have the classic orange HWs and spot patterns. -Jeff Gesell
