Observation notes: On patch of Sulphur Buckwheat on NW face of San Rafael Mountain between 5500 and 6500 ft elevation. Sunny day in the 70’s F. Swarms of these as well as probable Icaricia chlorina on every small or large Sulphur Buckwheat patch on the mountain. Might be new records for Santa Barbara County. (note: there is a Euphilotes sighting in this area from "Stephanomeria" on iNaturalist from July 12th 2018 which may be the first.)
