Coordinator notes: There are sightings in New Mexico, but I haven't found any in AZ. Still, it's widely distributed so I think this is correct. JRains
Taxonomy note: Macaria brunneata (Thunberg, 1784), formerly placed in the genus Itame in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist) and in the genus Speranza in Ferguson (2008), is returned to genus Macaria in Sihvonen & Skou (2015) following Scoble & Krüger (2002).
