Observation notes: Found similar caterpillars on inaturalist. Possibly some kind of owlet moth. Similar to fritillary caterpillar, though they seem to have spines and this one doesn't.

Coordinator notes: I suspect this sp. is resident in your area, but I'm not certain - hence the "unknown" status. There is a confirmed sighting in Lubbock, TX, and at least one more in New Mexico. Interesting to see this sp. in NW New Mexico. JRains (p.s. - if another coordinator thinks I'm mistaken, please advise!)
