Coordinator notes: Recent evidence seems to suggest that C. ladon (Spring Azure) is not found in WI, and the darker early season species is C. lucia. Of note, there is also now a recognized spring brood of C. neglecta (Summer Azure) in this region, however these individuals would lack the dark HW margins and prominent HW fringe checkering. -Jeff Gesell
