Coordinator notes: Classic male Atalopedes campestris, once known nationwide as just "Sachem" until there was a taxon split in the fall of 2023. The west coast population maintained the A. campestris scientific name, but now has the common name "Field Skipper" (BAMONA hasn't updated their database). East of the Rockies, the species was termed A. huron, and is now known as the common name "Huron Sachem." -Jeff Gesell
