Observation notes: A Male feeding on a flowering crab tree in our yard, jumping around the tree quickly. This species is far north of its range.
this is the 3rd Eastern to make it to our yard in 15 years of my "On the Hunt for North woods Butterflies" research project.
All 3 were males.
