Observation notes: This individual was at the second stream crossing (counting crossing from the parking area) in Upper Water Canyon, Los Alamos County. I am trying to learn the differences between Field and Mylitta Crescents. This individual seemed to have a head that appears very light tan or white. Its ventral side seems to match the photo in Swift's guide to butterfies as well as photo in Butterflies of New Mexico hosted on PEEC website.
