Observation notes: If this is a Gray Comma, it's the first time I've ever seen one. I see two spots on the upper hind wing, instead of three like the Eastern Comma. Also, the comma looks more like a straight line than a C.

Coordinator notes: Not as commonly encountered as compared to other Polygonia in Kansas, nice one! I lived in Reno County over 15 yrs and saw one fresh P. Progne, never saw another. Thanks, JAMES STEEN
