Observation notes: The female butterfly is feeding on Blue Mistflower (Conoclinium coelestinum). The male butterfly is above her, in flight.

Coordinator notes: Male and female patterns more consistent with A. huron. Male H. phyleus would have a “double stigma” appearance on the FW, and a more open orange patch on the HW. Female A. huron has 2 prominent hyaline FW spots, which seem to be visible on this individual. -Jeff Gesell
