Observation notes: On Yarrow, which is along my back walkway. Sunny. No wind.
FYI: I participate in the Beecology Project https://beecology.wpi.edu/website/home and have been photographing Flower Flies and butterflies too, as well as other insects. I sent the image out to someone I know who is affiliated with https://www.massbutterflies.org/ and he said it looks pretty good to him.
