Coordinator notes: In the future, please provide locality information, important as alpheus and gracielae are easy to separate with actual specimens or habitat information, but not always in photographs. Hostplant associations are also very helpful. Atriplex canescens for alpheus, Atriplex lentiformis for gracielae. I was in an area with both plants yesterday in the southern San Joaquin Valley, but neither skipper occurs in that area, or at least not so far as we know.-Ken Davenport
