Observation notes: Rain yesterday sunny today, so many species flying today this one finally landed and I knew it was something different. Probably escaped from a zoo? Would love to think Hillary gave us something good besides rain.

Coordinator notes: This is the 2nd record I know for California, the Santa Monica record was believed to be an accidental introduction on a ship-Ken Davenport The butterfly is correctly identified and should not have been flagged. The problem is we now know this individual was reared from larvae or eggs brought in an reared from outside the state.
