Coordinator notes: MAKI, we are not quite sure if these breed in that area or only wander in, but this is a fresh female, so that suggests maybe it is a breeding resident, at least seasonally. it's also a great photo and we need a good female pic for Butterflies of New Mexico here: https://peecnature.org/butterflies-of-new-mexico/skippers-spread-wing-hesperiidae-pyrginae/#ericetorum.
