Observation notes: Sunny, low 90's, calm. This butterfly was seen on Delosperma cooperi (Purple Ice Plant). Growing nearby are shrub roses, Asclepias tuberosa (Orange Butterfly Weed), Acer negundo 'Sensation, and Quercus undulata as well as other shrubs and perennials.
