Observation notes: The female, Pine White butterfly was first captured in the Cascade Butterfly Survey in Section A of the Sunrise Rim Trail, at Sunrise at Mount Rainier. Upon release it flew to a Cascade Aster and shortly after began feeding.
86 degrees and mostly cloudy. The Butterfly wings has been partially eaten by birds.
