Observation notes: Saw this nectaring on Nude buckwheat a few miles north of Monitor Pass. Saw a Speyeria flying and pulled over, it was long gone when I stepped out, but this Butterfly was busy nectaring there and I got its picture. I have never seen this species, but noticed it has been sighted in this region.
