Coordinator notes: Thanks for contributing! The Dusky-Blue Groundstreak is a more western species that would be quite a rare find in this area. This is a Red-Banded Hairstreak, which is very similar but differs from the Dusky-Blue Groundstreak in having a broader red hindwing band and a less prominent red "cap" over the black spot between the tails on the hindwing.
