Coordinator notes: Usually not a very commonly found species north of Monument Divide (El Paso-Douglas County) so your observation "the most common butterfly in Waterton Canyon" is more unusual and usual...second (summer) flight. The host is Gambel's Oak which is certainly fairly common at this location. Mike
