Coordinator notes: Your suggested ID is correct...the species should actually be Callophrys affinis...apama is a subspecies (TL in Arizona...has a complete zig-zag white line on the underside of the hindwings). Our subspecies mostly east of the Continental Divide is homoperplexa which typically has just a one to three (few) white spots or just a remnant of that complete line (rarely is it complete like apama).
