Observation notes: Pair of skippers courting while nectaring from Erigeron sp. flowers blooming along the Arroyo Trail, Organ Mountains erosion fan. Additional orange skipperlings were nectaring from nearby Apache plume flowers at this location. The day was sunny, warm, and windy, but this site was shielded and shaded from these elements.
