Coordinator notes: Correct ID...a fairly familiar one and easily identified. There was a small migratory group that moved through the Front Range in late April to early May...this is likely one from that flight. I gave its status as "Temporary Colonist"...also "Migrant" would work too. Some years you see many and others they are scarce, and like the Painted Lady they are an unlikely year-around resident in Colorado but usually produce a summer brood or one that emerges in the mountains later on.
