Observation notes: I couldn’t get a good shot of this because it flew over the bushes and down the mountain. Couldn’t collect specimen because I didn’t have my net so I’m not sure what species it is.

Coordinator notes: This appears to be form "deserti" in which females lack orange tips on the forewings. Yes they can appear to be California or Desert Marbles.-Ken Davenport
