Observation notes: I saw this moth in the early afternoon on the sidewalk outside of my building. It was sitting still, no movement. It was in the shade. Yesterday's weather was full sun, ~80F. About an hour later I saw it had moved to the ground level window sill. a few hours after that it was gone from the area.
