Submitted by: Cascade Colors
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: I am going through all of my photos and tagging them, and found this one that I never submitted to Bamona. It looks like the variegated to me, though clearly more worn and not as colorful as others I have submitted. (Also: Thank you so much for all of your help the past few years. I will miss all of the butterflies in Colorado, but will be heading east for a while; will keep submitting to Bamona from the new locations. May come back to CO from time to time and of course will submit any butterflies I happen to see on any future trips).

Coordinator notes: Your ID is correct...a bit worn because she is a migrant...and she found some a bed of pansies someone planted and she certainly was going to start the summer generation by laying eggs on them...a favorite host plant in the domesticated habitat! Best of wishes on your relocation and thanks for all of your Colorado BAMONA submissions over the past few years. Mike
