Observation notes: Reared from Prunus serotina. Found on 7/15/21 on a raised mat of silk on the upper side of a leaf. Spun a chrysalis on the lid of the container on 7/31. The chrysalis was put in a fridge in late October 2021 and was taken out on 3/5/22. The adult emerged on 3/23/22. The adult had a FW length of 43.3mm and a wingspan of about 90mm. The second and third photos show the chrysalis the day before eclosion, the fourth shows the chrysalis just after pupation in early august.
