Observation notes: several seen over two days, mostly males, loving on the thistles. What do you think . . . are these ssp. carpenterii? or now neomexicanus? or something else?

Coordinator notes: Probably neomexicana...I'm sending Grishin some samples from SW Colorado to run and compare with Jemez Mts. stuff and of course, we'll hope to clear up the carpenterii situation next year! Mike
