Coordinator notes: The ID is correct...genetics investigation shows the correct name to use after all is Polites coras (see Zhang et al, 2022...Taxonomic Report 10(7), p. 39-41...if we are to follow genetics as Nick Grishin prescribes in these many recent reports anyway. James Scott thinks there should be no less than 3% difference before affirming new species. I think their threshold is 1.5 to 2%. Mike
