Date notes: I believe we saw this insect in the late afternoon of the day sighted. I took pictures with my phone but forgot about them.

Observation notes: This moth was between 1.5 and 2 inches long. It rested on various points within our carport for an hour or so. Sighted August 2021, but I took the photos with my phone and forgot them until now. As can be seen in the photos, the coloring looks more brown in sunlight and more gray in shade.
