Date notes: This caterpillar was discovered on a small orange tree when it was brought indoors and being examined for spidermites. The caterpillar had been on the plant for some time as eaten leaves were noted for some time prior, but the caterpillar could not be located. It was at the given date and time that the insect was removed from the plant and photographed.

Observation notes: This species was found on a young orange tree that is potted and brought outside of summer months. The caterpillar had been eating leaves for some weeks but had not been iscovered until the date of the photograph. The orange tree had been brought inside and as eing inspected for spidermites when dropping of he caterpillar were noted, and then it was discovered. It was a sunny day, and no other plants were near to this potted orange tree.
