Observation notes: Walking in my neighborhood, saw an orange butterfly drop into a bush. It was not a Monarch, but similar size. So I stopped to take a photo and noticed there were already about 8 others resting in this bush. The open wings are orange; I'm pretty sure they are Gulf Fritillaries. The wings folded up in resting position show white patches within black stained glass pattern. High clouds, very little breeze, about 70*F, rained Sunday, might rain again tonight. Image shows open Frit with resting Frit below and to the left.
