Observation notes: Maquenque Ecolodge & Reserve is probably my favorite in Costa Rica with more wildlife photographed here than anywhere else plus the option of a Treehouse room. It is in Boca Tapada on the San Carlos River, Alajuela Province near the Nicaragua border. Butterflies are everywhere!
