Observation notes: Maquenque Ecolodge is a true wilderness lodge with more birds and other wildlife than any I've visited in Costa Rica. It is in Boca Tapada, San Carlos, Alajuela, near the Nicaragua border.

Coordinator notes: Caligo eurilochus, Forest Giant Owl-Butterfly was requested when I first submitted. Then it was marked "misidentified" and I am now requesting "Caligo oelius, ssp: scamander" according to one of the coordinators
