Observation notes: Spotted on California buckwheat on the Crafton hills. Temperature - low 80’s F

Coordinator notes: The date of the sighting indicates acmon is more likely, but there is a chance this may be a late flying Euphilotes bernardino based on possible checkering along the forewings and the nature of the orange aurora of the hindwings. Since both occur there, no damage with be done if I am wrong-if I had the actual butterfly, we could tell easily.-Ken Davenport
