Coordinator notes: This is a day-flying moth found in forest area in the mountains rather than a butterfly...notice there is no club on the end of the antennae. Filamentous or feathery types of antennae are easily seen differences between the two types of lepidoptera. Of course, most moths fly at night while all butterflies are day-flyers so moths flying in the daytime can fool a person! Thanks for your submission. Mike
