Observation notes: Along Grizzly Creek trail, mix of pine and cedar forest and small open meadows. Lots of wildflowers in bloom. elevation approximately 6,000' amsl. Not sure of I.D. as I didn't see any iridescent blue spots, the fringe was not checkered.

Coordinator notes: This appears more like a lupini to my eyes, bolder block spots and stronger HW aurora. Both this and acmon are in that area so if I am wrong no distribution data harm is done. Those lupini on Mt. Shasta are an unnamed subspecies-Ken Davenport
