Observation notes: Warm, sunny day. Wind calm. Habitat: small roadside waterfall, sunny hot rock cliff, mossy seep with moist roadside ditch, forest edge. More than one flying. Patrolling shoulders of road and nectaring. First paved turnout along Marys Peak Road before junction with road NF-3010.
