Observation notes: Individual blues were photographed at the La Mancha constructed wetland, adjacent to the levee of the Rio Grande, nectaring, puddling (moist soil of a pond), and displaying. Plants visited were Bermuda grass, alkali Swainson-pea, and white sweetclover. The afternoon was hot, humid, breezy, and under a partially cloudy sky.
