Coordinator notes: A worn female Persius Duskywing...smaller than the Rocky Mountain...male of which have only vague light spots on the hindwings, females have lighter colored hindwings or the area where the light spots are is two-toned in appearance (and the light spots are also large). Rocky Mt. larval host is oaks and mostly flies early in the year and Persius larvae feed on legumes (like lupine) and flies early to mid-summer. Mike
