Our 2023 fundraiser has arrived, and we need your help!
We depend on donations to keep Butterflies and Moths of North America online and free. Your support is vital to the project. Please make a recurring or one-time donation to sustain this valuable source of information. Thank you!
Observation notes: Mostly sitting with closed wings on a slightly bigger rock than the surrounding damp pebbles on the dry stream bed. Occasionally flew up and landed on the stream bed and spread its wings, but I was unable to get a well focused picture of the open wings in good light. I have appended a rather poor photo of the open wings as well as one with partly open wings, and one with closed wings.
